Edge 800 Issue...

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem similar to this....

My Garmin Edge 800 suddenly turned off this afternoon in the middle of a ride while I was following a course. I have no idea why. I restarted the device, and the course continued as usual (I just had to restart the timer).

It seems to have left me with a corrupt fit file. It can be read by Garmin Training Camp, but I can't upload it to Garmin Connect (I get an error telling me that the file isn't readable.

My workaround has been to use Training Camp to create a TCX file which I've been able to upload. I'd like a proper fix though...

Does anyone know if it's possible to fix the error in the fit file?

    I see youve put the file on the Garmin Forums, hopefully one of the clever members on there will help,using courses seems to be causing various issues at the moment, so i think i,ll avoid using that function until Garmin fixes it, also a lot of 800 users dont finish a ride using the stop button and then reset button properly, that causes a lot of problems,but certainly not all of them.
