Just been trying to find out when the hell the rally coverage is on this year, and it turns out it's only on ESPN, which means you need Sky, and a sky sports subscription.
OH, fuccing great

I'm sure you'll find coverage on myp2p.eu or other sources. It is annoying that it's gone to Sky though.
  • To be fair though hasn't WRC kinda died on it's arse past few years? Various manufacturers pulling out and interest in the sport on the wane. I remember it being far more popular 10 years ago.

Shame really because I always felt it was far more intense than F1 (bombing along dirt roads not much wider than the car you're in is cooler than the procession we've had in F1 past few years)

Brand new start this year though, effectively. More manufacturers, entirely new car classification, driver/team shakeups.
Was really looking forward to it.
I'm not going to pay a fucking ransom to ESPN/Sky for it though.
  • I have ESPN thankfully (who also show it here) so I may take a look. Here the equivilent of £20 a month gets you a shitload of channels and no extra charge for ESPN or Fox Sports (HBO, Sony, Fox and AXN are also included)....top banana

Ar$e! :( WRC is so much more interesting than F1 as well - why can't they put that on pay channels instead? (No way am I getting a Sky subscription, I have a job so don't have enough time to get my moneys worth).

Will Dave be doing the sunday highlights program still or not?
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

special needs, huh? Well, unfortunately I can't think of a shorter word than NO that will answer your question.
Go and ask your nurse to go through my first post with you very slowly, and explain any bits you find tricky. It may take several weeks, but I'm sure you'll get there in the end, bless.

I thought adding "bless" at the end made it all ok.

Just found out, if you have Sky already, it's on Motors TV. Don't know what their coverage will be like though.

Keep an eye on this page for links to sites (or channels on Sopcast) showing the rally.

Very poor, watched it last night and wasn't too impressed, pretty much all of the footage is from the onboard cameras.

Well, I'd like to thank North One for royally slapping most rally fans in the UK.

After all thier 5h1t last year about wanting to get the WRC back on more 'mainstream' channels. Motors TV. Mainstream.

    Riiiiiiight.

Can't be bigger paying chanels as Motors isn't renowned for being big payers (a lot of their content they don't even pay for). Go figure.

On a positive note, if you can watch the WRC, you can watch the British Cross Country Championship - a modern and British spin on Group B and baja.

Downer is, I can watch neither.
How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

False..... it's on motors TV so you don't need sky sports. ESPN is a separate subscrition anyway, yes you need Sky for that.
