In appreciation of 'Reggae Britannia' tonight on BBC 4 at 9pm I've dug this out. He was the first concert I ever went to in about 69/70 when I was 12/13ish. Saw him at The Blue Lagoon, Newquay 8) Spoke to him after and got his autograph and a spliff that was taped to the paper the autograph was written on, and hung on my bedroom wall!

Oh Aggieboy. I was thinking of putting your name forward for some kind of award, for your services to the Girls In Lycra thread. Now this! I would have missed the Reggae Brittania night otherwise, nice one. Sky Plus to the max!0

Don't know if you've kept up with what happened in this space, but if you've not, check out Rhythm and Sound.
