couple of questions for you lot!

Basically in my shop a few months ago had a customer come back after he had his bike for around about 2 months. Fair enough, just needs a little check over the gears etc and he'll be on his way. However that was not the problem he mentioned, it was that the rear wheel was loose. Turns out every spoke bar two wasn't tight, they weren't even hand tight. It felt like there was no cones on axle.

So my questions,

1. What would cause this? (barring the usual person who checked the bike before handing it to the customer)

2. Warranty?

Everything is all sorted but it annoys me everytime I think of it.

    Sounds like a thick customer.

Either he's undone them himself in a hashed attempt at straightening out a buckled rim or they are indeed the result of a bad build, it's just that it took 30 of them to come loose before he noticed!

He either did it himself or he's thick!
