Lots of men with missing teeth.

I heard a nasty story this morning on a podcast about a guy who ended up stopping a shot with his face. His jaw shattered into 4 pieces and he said " I lost 7 teeth which I could feel in the back of my throat"...

Most exciting sport in the world - once you have learned how to follow the puck.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

    Grenoble.

20 years ago, when I lived there, we were regulars at the Stade de Glace. I had never seen anything like it in the name of Sport and haven't since*. As live sport, it was brilliant.

*although snowboard cross in the last Winter Olympics was quite close to being as insane.

    Funny how things change.

While in Canada it was near impossible to to get tickets for a game so most were watched on a 24" screen long before HD had even been thought of

Another thought - Don Cherry. A dinosaur but very entertaining.

Grapes is immense and while a loud mouth show off, there are very few of the commentators have such an intense and insightful knowledge of the game. it's not often his wisdom is wrong.

Any of you see last night Penguins/islanders game.........346 minutes in penalties like being back in the 70s
