Dalby fully open/Visitor centre to close??

Rode up at Dalby yesterday expecting to be diverted off the red route at post 25 as I was last week but the Red is now fully open with some escape lanes still closed. All in fairly good condition, too.
On a sadder note, while I was there they were having a Forestry Commission meeting at the visitor centre. Managed to speak to a few of the FC guys as they came out who told me that along with large scale redundancies, the visitor centre at Low Dalby is to be closed. They also told me that Yorkshire operations are to be merged with Cumbria and I think he said Humberside.
It will be interesting to see what happens over the coming months.

that's a shame about the visitors centre, that's only likely to mean less business for the venue
