Get young cyclists on the
‘RightTrack’
RightTrack cycling courses
will be taking place for young
cyclists, aged nine and over,
this February half-term.

Courses are held over two days
and include off and on-road
sessions with the cyclist being
supervised by an instructor.
So book your place at either;

• Stanchester Leisure Centre,
Stoke sub Hamdon, near Yeovil
on Monday and Tuesday 21 and
22 February,

or
• Wellsprings Leisure Centre,
Taunton on Wednesday and
Thursday 23 and 24 February.
Details of the courses, timings
and cost can be obtained from
the centres.

Those who are unable to get to
any of the training courses can
download a Fit2Ride training
pack from the Somerset Road
Safety Partnership website at
http://www.
roadsafetysomerset.org.uk.
The Fit2Ride pack contains a
bike safely checklist, advice
on cycle helmets and clothing
as well as information on road
signs and markings.

A second section has details
of skills tests, including turns
and emergency stops, which
a young rider can complete to
improve their handling of the
bike.
