Rivington 100 changes?

Does anyone know what's going on with the Rivington 100?

Historically, it's been in June and organised by / for the benefit of Bolton Lads and Girls Club.

I'm seeing one advertised in May this year by / for MedEquip4kids.

Does anyone know if the event has moved time and charity or whether this is a rival one?

    I did it last year, so was on their mailing list.

    They sent an email saying that unfortunately they weren't able to run it this year, but instead Medequip would be running it.

    As previous poster, I got the same e-mail explaining all.
    Numbers were a bit down last year because of the weather so I suspect the economics were quite marginal for a well organised and friendly event that was in its infancy. Hope things go well for the new organisers as it is a good event.
