Under saddle POD

Hi,

I followed a guy on a ride the other day and he had a pod under his saddle rather than the stupid bags that we all bash around in, I should have asked him what it was but he rode off before the end of the ride and I missed out.

It looked like it was made of hard wetsuit material, the zip was covered over and it just hung down without all the ridiculous S&M straps that most of them have......

Anyone know what it was ???

I have one that sounds like that and it's an Ortlieb model..

The smallest ones don't have a seatpost strap and they just clip into and slot that attaches to the saddle rails. The larger ones clip in and also have the strap..

If that isn't it I think Topeak do some similar as well.

best though would be the tube bags from pro or continental - just room enough for a tube and cannister - and tuck nicely up in the saddle

I've got one almost exactly like that. From Lidl, £4.99.

I had to budget an extra 1p or so for the zip bag that the stuff inside goes in.

Oh, and it came with a puncture repair kit and multitool too.
