You need a crank extractor tool. Or if it has a self extracting crank bolt, replace the two parts and try again.0

It is just one bolt with a cap, crank extractor tool then thanks0

hi. i have the race face evolve. the way to split is ..lets say you have the 8mm pin and the 10mm end cap out. put the 8mm pin in and tighten.. put the 10mm end cap on and tighten. now take your 8mm key and put it through the hole in the end cap and undo the pin, as this unscrews it will extract the crank arm.Inside every old person their's a young person wondering what the fuck happened!.....0

Ride XC's, or at least some, aren't compatible with self extracting bolts0 -

Correct....I have these cranks, any hollowtech 2 crank extractor will work. Dont do what I did and buy self extracting crank bolts, you're wasting your money.0 -

they should have come with there own bolt and extracting ring.
CRC do replacements.
note the FSA also use the same diameter extracting ring but with the opposite thread on it. Not compatible."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I have the 2008 crankset (I'm assuming OP has the same), for some bizare reason race face didnt include the self extracting crank bolt as part of the crankset...Wierd!!0

Self extracting bolts will NOT fit, they are the wrong size. I have one in my toolbox when I was told it would fit but it didn't, the diameter of the cap is too large0

Exactly what I found...Proceed directly to HT2 extractor...0
