Etape 2011 Travel Plans

Hi fellas,
Im enteriing my first Etape this year - the 209km Issoire to Saint -Flour stage. (nightmare!)
Im having a hard time trying to organise getting there and back. Its costing a fortune as the stage is in the middle of nowhere!
I live in Belfast but would travel from another UK airport if it was cheap enough to connect. If anyone else is doing it can you drop me a line on what your plans are and what route you are taking.
My best option so far is either a return flight to Clermont Ferrand via Southhampton for £230, or Dublin to Lyon (with a 3 hour transfer) for £130.
Any advice would be great. Thank you.
