I have the recourses to build I foam pit in my back garden.. I am 15 and it would be a great training tool... however..

How long need it be how wide and is it really feasible.. Are there certain materials I need to use?

How big would it have to be? As small as you are sure you can land in.

As big and deep as possible. AWESOME idea! :D
  • Is wood a good thing to make the outside shell bit Thimbu? Any better ideas.

Yea, some big plywood planks, and a large amount of nails. Or dig a big hole,

I want a garden big enough for that :(

It's my dream to have a big enough garden to build a mini pump track...
  • See if you can find a big old above ground swimming pool thats sprung a leak and is being sold of cheap and fill with foam offcuts.

Don't dig a pit it will just fill up with water :)

A prssure treated timber outer frame lined with weed block fabric would be how I would do it, just so it would drain well and not rot. you shouls also think about keeping it covered when not in use to stop leaves and other organic matter/animals getting in it.

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford?
