Impossible to fit tyres- help!

Hi all, got a puncture to the rear wheel on my Pinnacle Trojan 2 which has Alex Supra BH rims with WTB Graffiti 2.2 tyres and, for the life of me, I cannot refit the tyre. I consider myself to be reasonably competent in basic bike jobs and have never had a problem with tyre fitting but this has me stumped! Have gone through countless Spesh tubes but when I get close to getting the last bit of bead over the rim, the tube has split anyway so have to fix the hole and start again! I'm using an Ice Toolz DH tyre lever and some Park plastic levers. Any tips to get a stubborn tyre on without splitting the tubes? thanks guys

Don't use metal tyre levers
Check the bead is in the centre of the rim all the way around before trying to fit the last bit of the bead with your hands0 -
Heat it up somehow, so it expands a bit. Works on roadie tyres anyway.
Otherwise, try inflating the tube a bit more, so it is harder for it to be pinched.And now you know, and knowing is half the battle
