Shimano DI2 or Vision Metron?

Hi guys,
I've got a big big big dilemma here. Well kind of a nice dilemma
As I've just finished my PhD, I wanted to reward myself by getting the ultimate dream bike I'm struggling with getting either the Shimano Di2, Vision Metron or SRAM Red groupset.
So far I've got the Wilier Cento Chrono frameset on hold for order, however they are in need for (apparently) a special order if as the frame needs to be adjusted for Shimano Di2.
So therefore this question: "Imagine there would be no money limit, which groupset would you pick (pros and cons)?"
Curious what will come out of this poll....

Haven't got a clue what Vision Metron is like, and I'm not a huge Sram fan, so my choice would be the Shimano Di2. But if you can, try out all three groupsets and see what feels and looks better in your opinion.0

DI2 without a shadow of a doubt.BMC TM01 - FCN 0
Look 695 (Geared) - FCN 1
Bowman Palace:R - FCN 1
Cannondale CAAD 9 - FCN 2
Premier (CX) - FCN 6
Premier (fixed/SS) - FCN30 -

FSA.....lightweight, carbony stuff0 -
If money were no limit, and for a Wilier, I would surely go Campagnolo. But I'm no sure about their TT offerings?0

Normally I'd day Di2 but it seems a waste for aTT bike where bar end type shifters are fine.0

Di2 brilliant!
i'm a convert
riden a wilier cento uno with Di2, fantastic bike
as for a chrono, tri /tt setup with Di2, never tried it but i think using Di2 with a tri set up actually makes alot more sense allowing you to have shifters on the tri aero bars AS WELL as the brake levers.0 -
hmmz sounds like the Di is the favorite...
ALso good point by PeterBL regarding the Campag groupset. I'm personally not a great fan of Campag. Just can't give any arguments why :oops:0 -
campag super record is the prettiest group set bar none (there is no comparison)
but i dont like them due to compatability issues
also 11 speed gearing sounds great but requires specials tools to remove chains (campag's own tool is crazy money for a chain breaker) and due to the narrowness of the chain will require more more frequent changes.
i wear out 10 speed chains like they are going out of fashion (yes everything is maintained 100% so wear is not due to a lack of maintenance), i remember days where we had much fewer gears but components lasts for years.0 -

Interesting! I had no idea they had 11 speed. Than from that perspective I can't see a good reasoning why to go for an 11 speed as (by as far as my knowledge goes) you don't need 2x11 gears on a tt-bike... Also, why adding more on the bike while the main idea is to keep it as light as possible....
Hmmz, 16 votes, 81% for Di2, I think I'm a bit wiser and helped by you guys! Thank you!

FWIW there's no evidence to suggest that 11 speed chains wear quicker than 10 - in fact the weakest are probably SRAM's efforts based on reputation.
As it's a TT set-up then having the Di2 options of shifters on both the extensions and bull-horns is surely the winner based purely on functionality?
I would only get nostalgic about Wiliers needing Campagnolo if they came from anywhere near Italy...Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
