brake olive..

I'm guessing there's an olive missing from this picture,Clarks Sx skeletal brake...are the olives universal or are they "make" specific?

    dont think so... its a while since I shortened the hose on my Skeletal's, but I'm pretty sure thats it... the barb goes into the hose, and the other bit just screws on to lock it in place...

  • Oh right I've got a certain retailer looking for spare olives for me... :oops: I was expecting them to be like goodridge mx bike hoses...cheers.

    That looks like the Goodridge kit. The nut slides onto the hose, the barbed end is then inserted into the hose, the two parts screw together to clamp the hose in place. Then attach to caliper/lever.
