Wilier Bikes

Guys in a bit of a dilemma and need outside opinions; I am looking at a Wilier to use as a Club bike, as I will not leave my Storck outside a Cafe while I eat cake and drink tea! so then I have been looking at the following:
Veloce
Then after further digging the one up from this caught my attention:
Centaur
I am considering the fact that the Centaur has a better Groupset, Wheels, Seat post and bars and weighting that against the extra 600 quid also have I missed the point of the bike, ie to be left outside a cafe whilst on a club ride!
Your thoughts please.
Thanks

Wilier all the way - see my footer - I bought from here - if you can wait from Denmark, they have some bargains!

m8 this may sound nuts but I am not happy with buying a bike off the internet; I like the fact that the Wilier has a 2 year warranty which is invalid according to the small print in the warranty, furthermore I can go and speak to a face if things are not as they should be, but OMG the Izoard with an Athena Groupset for the same price as a Veloce Petacchi is mad! also too good to be true.
But thanks for the link,

I have a 2010 Izoard which I had built up with Sram Force which I am really happy with. It's my first carbon bike so can't really compare it to anything else bar the Scotts, Giants and Bianchi's I test rode before picking it.
If I was you see if you can find one of last years stock hanging around, this year XP badged one has a different fork and carbon lay up for the frame all adding to the weight, how that equates in the really world I don't know, it just feels heavy compared to mine when I lifted it up in the shop.0 -
Seems like a bit of a strange choice of bike if you're after something that might not walk while you're having a brew, particularly the rather funky Petacchi.
Still a big fan of my Izoard but believe, as Richtreen indicates, that it has been slightly downgraded for 2011 to replace the Mortirolo as Wilier's entry-level carbon frame.0 -
Unable to locate XL 2010 version in uk, thought Rutland had some until I phoned them up, I can get a Med and thats about it.
Re: the Colour yes well, the bike will still have a lock on it, it's just that I am happier to leave a 1800 quid bike than a 3.5k - 4k bike, if you get me.0
