North Essex Cyclists
Hi All,
Been looking for a local riding group for a long time, but with no avail, so after much thought I have decided to form North Essex Cyclists. Its just a group, not a club, so no fees no nothing! Just a common place to find the riders in the Saffron Walden and surrounding area!

We are a newly formed social group of both road and mountain bikers from the north Essex / South Cambridge / West Suffolk area who enjoy nothing more than to ride for fun and fitness on the weekends.
Still a small group now, but hoping for new members to join us for both on and off road fun!
The initial plan (although this is subject to change) is Road riding on Saturday, MTB on a Sunday.
When the summer arrives, perhaps regular night rides and visits to trail centres for MTB, and road riding in more "exotic" locations than the flatlands of N. Essex.
All levels of fitness are encouraged to join us, beginners to race whippets, the only requirements are a good sense of fun and a love of all things with 2 wheels.
This is not a club, there are no fees, no subscriptions and no forms to fill out. As yet, there aren't any rules, though I do strongly suggest a helmet to wear on our rides, medical science is great these days but nobody has yet invented a replacement brain yet!
Looking forward to seeing you all out on a ride

have a word with stuart from flitch bikes, they do a couple rides one that way each week, pretty good riders to boot
