Lovely bike-love the finish on the frame.

Some advice-get a black lizardskin-my red one got covered in black splodges that were impossible to remove when I was cleaning the chain.

Hi nice bike. If I were you I would keep an eye open for any marks on the chain stays. I used a more heavy duty chainstay guard on on my scale and after a few years the chain had started eating into the carbon. Since then I have wrapped some inner tube around it to add a bit more protection.

not going for a weight weenie bike, but what parts that are needing replaced or smartened up will be light, just to keep with the bikes theme really.

these arrived today, titanium QRs 45 grams to replace the tatty 111gram mavic ones.

 i didnt realize how light these bikes were, had a few titanium bikes recently and they were tanks compared to this thing.

its a flying machine, very fast.

dont get out much, but this will be a good tool for xc rides i hope. changes are pretty much done, just going to service it then get some rides in.

Blimey, what bike would you get if you weren't falling to bits

That's all damn nice stuff. I can't see any part that will be niggling you to replace it with something lighter !

I'm sure it'll all be more than strong enough.

got the bike serviced last week and the mechanic couldnt sort my brakes out, said it had probaly had the wrong fluid in at some point and the seals were knacked.

hence today i fitted some avid elixir 5 brakes in white, and also swapped the grips to ritchey ones that suited the bike more.

need to get the cables cut down, or change to braided, i have not decided yet.
