with Merlin cycles... again!!!
I ordered a pair of XTR WH-M975 wheels. Recieved them today. NOT OEM, proper Shimano Box, wheels bags, everything.... and they only cost £430 with their online discount. Some places are still charging £700 for these...
AND they came with a top quality sports/water bottle, filled with energy gels, sachets of energy drinks etc.... a bit better than Haribo....
So, after selling my DT Swiss wheels, the XTR set cost me £230!!!
They are not the lightest without skewers they are a smidge over 1500gr, but seriously, you should see the construction and workmanship on them, outstanding!!!!
A good buy, even at £475!!!

nice
I know shimano wheels aren't always the nicest looking or the lightest, but they just work.0 -

These look great though Ben, best looking wheels I have seen in a long while and we all know Shimano Hubs (if serviced regularly) are great!!!0 -
I have the older 965 set. The hubs are like pieces of jewellry, put hope to shame!0

I agree...... they are very nice indeed.. the 965 had that nice mirrored (ish) finish to them?
Remarkalble string feeling for a 24h wheelset!!!0 -
