Hello,
I've got a gore tex paclite jacket that isn't as waterproof as it once was. It's about 3 years old and seems to let water in on the arms, shoulders etc...
Any ideas on how to get it waterproof again or is it time to bin it?
thanks
Simon

Go to any out door store and buy some Grangers or similar, wash in reproofing for outdoor jackets.
I would also recommend getting a box of soap flakes from your local supermarket for washing your waterproof gear in costs around £1.It cleans without stripping the DWR waterproof coating off your jacket, don't wash your gear with non-bio or bio washing powder or use fabric softener as these products destroy the coating very quickly..Don't buy the fancy tech-wash, as all it is is liquid soap, and costs a fortune.
Most of the wash in re-proofer's are heat activated, great if you have a tumble dryer, you can get an air activated one if you don't, and wash at 30 degrees.0
