The ride's great - probably as much to do with it being a really good fit as anything else, but the frame is nicely balanced I think - fast and direct without being jarringly rigid.

Great looking bike (and shades too)! As a matter of interest, may I be so bold as to ask you how much you paid for that frame?

    Thanks!

Nice, thanks for your input there. I was once told, and it seems pertinent in this instance.

If you've' nothing nice to say don't say anything.

The guys bike is his pride and joy just like yours is for you.

Lets spread the love tonight, that's all.

Im just passing through. Nice bike OP, all black tyres and black bar tape ftw. 8)

It was more than half a year ago now, but including the paint job and with the Euro exchange rate at the time I think it was about £1300. So about £300 more than a Ribble, but worth it just to have something a bit different. If I'd known that the Guerciotti version would eventually go for £1100 at Planet X I might have waited though!

It's stiff enough but not bone-jarringly stiff. It soaks up the bumps pretty well, more than you'd expect from looking at the width of the tubes.

    They're these ones:

    http://www.parker-international.co.uk/1 ... White.html

The white looks great at first, but it's a b*gger to keep clean...The rubber seems to attract dirt. They're easy to take on and off though as they are split down one side.
