Seatpost Question

Hi.
I need some advice on a new seat post please...

I currently have the PRO PLT which came with the bike (Sunday September).
It needs to be replaced as it is stuck, and removal will mean cutting it out.

I like what I have read about the Thompson posts, and am considering the
"Thomson Elite Setback"
I'm just a bit unsure of the difference in the setback (or offset).
I think the PRO has 20mm, and the Thompson has 16mm, so it would appear to be a minimimal difference.
Have I got that right?
The fit of the bike is about right, I'd not want to lose any effective TT length.

Any other recommendations would be welcome.

TIA!

Sounds like you've got it all right.
I have a Thomson. IMHO they are as good as seatposts get.
