So with all the arguments on going about race radios what do you think about it?

Should they be banned or not?

I can see where each side is coming from. People think it will make the racing more exciting, the riders want it for safety and to call the car e.g puncture.

I think it would make sense to have one radio channel that all the team cars and riders can hear. That way the commissaires could warn all the riders of a dangerous turn and let the teams know if a rider has pulled to the side of the road.

An out and out ban would be difficult to implement. I think taking them away on key stages of a race or some of the classics. I do think the teams have become far too reliant on them and are able to pace the race exactly. This can be quite dull and boring at times.
