presta or schrader tube question

hi guys

just a few inner tube questions, i know the pros and cons for each type so that not an issue really

1. current rims have schrader tubes. was going to put some presta's in but the hole in rim is larger. any issues or solutions?

2. any problem running 26 x 1.75 tubes with 2.1 tyres?

    1. Valve reducers.
    2. I would not use that (too much expansion makes them weaker in serval ways. 2.0 at a min really.

    there we go.

    note to self:

    1. google valve reducers
    2. stop being cheap and get some proper inners

    Your lbs will probably have millions of those little plastic valve reducers.

    On the subject of tyres, last year I used a paper-thin Cheng Shin inner tube in a 2.4 Nobby Nic and it was absolutely fine. IMO fitting a big, heavy DH tube in a skinny XC tyre is worse.
