  • Morning all!

Don't have uni till 1am today, but had to be up for 9 because my landlord is coming round for a bloody house inspection.

2 hour lecture at one, then might go out for a run this evening if my knee is feeling up to it.

    Morning all.

Great weekend apart from it being that time of the month for the wife so everything I did or didn't say was totally wrong or said in a voice that annoyed her. She also reverts to talking like our six year old daughter.

Today is work-meh, this evening is ironing-meh.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

  • Spent the morning failing at building a bed, as the instructions are poo.

Now relaxing waiting for someone to come help with the bed, then lunch, then off for a ride hopefully as it's the first decent day today weather wise.
  • Mehning.
My chain decided to disintegrate this morning. I was about half way to work, had just got to the bottom of a big hill, and about to start climbing the next one when it happened. Typical that i've only just bought gear and brake cables
Looking at the teeth on the drivetrain, I think this may be a bit more expensive than I'd like. Although, sayin that, I have a bike I can probably salvage parts from...

Anyway, Meh. 3.5miles walking in SPD's is not my idea of fun.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Morning all. Today's forecast is for showers of meh, often heavy in places, merging into longer periods of prolonged meh.

Yesterday's meh-fest involving some relatives (why do they stay so long? haven't they got anything better to do?) was rescued by a Sunday night prowl around the Chase. My god it was quiet I haven't been on a Sunday night for ages but it was like next-level quiet. Of course this was a great opportunity to ride the official trails in the reverse direction

  • No work this week, so am indoors, watching the Sopranos, shall be packing up some wheels that I sold to ship out tomorrow, and packing the roadie up to send to new owner (yes, I really only own 1 bike now)...

Feel really tired, I think I did too much socialising end of last week/the weekend. I feel like I could go back to bed (You know what? I just might)

Morning all, uneventful day today. Had a lecture about dog abdomens, have another lecture later about secretions, fun stuff  On the bright side tomorrow I have a 4 hour dissection to look forward to.

Probably spend all (or the vast majority) of today doing uni work, while watching some tv and eating cake and drinking tea :D Maybe go out for a ride or run later if I feel like it.

Ah the first year of a Brunel Design Degree, brings back memories....

Anyway Morning all, i'm suffering a relapse of manflu after making the not-so-intelligent decision to stay up and watch the superbowl. Also waiting for some goodies from CRC to arrive today or tomorrow...including some carbon goodness :)

    Good Afternoon Freaks!

Struggled into the office today. My foot's still not right. Think this is going to be a long healing process. :( The pink happy tablets are nice though...

Been busy catching up on all the work that I didn't do last week. Also, I've handed in my work's BlackBerry/Mobile so I can no longer be contacted once I leave the office. :D

Not consumed any bacon themed items yet today, I shall be saving that delight for dinner - leftover ham, bacon & cheese in pasta sort of concoction. And, the coffee grinder machine in the cafe's broke, so only "instant" coffee's available.

    Afternoon Delights

Waiting for lift home at the mo. But best of all have 2 weeks of clear air with no extra work planned so lots of biking planned might try to get to cannock mid week sometime as I enjoyed the place last time I was there ( crudders ride)

Hopefully the front brake for the Herb is finished at my lbs and they have a red floating hope rotor/DISC waiting for me so the bike should be finished . Just thought is a bike ever finished.

Couple of ridge tiles to replace on the house roof so barring any mishaps it'll be a great trip home.
I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!
