There appear to have been a few threads on here recently about tattoos. I'm curious as to what people have as I've thought about it for a few years.
Do you fancy sharing yours in either words or pictures.

I have 3, each very unique, but no, I don't want to share!

likewise - they're a personal thing I don't particularly want people with similar to a couple of mine and they shouldn't either, OP do it so its something meaningful to you

:? I don't even have photos of any of mine!

    Must do something about that!

My current fav is a pair of entwinned dogs on my right calf. It's a celtic/tribal fusion piece. It means a huge deal philosophically. Then theres the samoan dragon that was on my left upper arm. That got reworked into something far bigger and much more beautiful (thank you Ilona at 'Angelic Hell') a couple of years back.

There are others, but pictures are worth a thousand words. I have neither the pictures nor the patience!

Shouldn't be too hard for a good tattooist to make that name into 'DieselDog'

  • I have a couple. Work in progress at the moment is a 50s pin up on an old bike, on my right arm. It's mega. Lots of different techniques in it, 16 hours down and about 12 to go.

Now that sounds like a cool twist on a classic style. That'll be worth seeing when its complete!

That sounds amazing. Do you really mean you are having 28 hours of tattooing on one arm? Not sure if that will hurt like crazy, will your arm just be totally numb.

My mates girlfriend has had a new tattoo of a seashell at the top of her thigh. If you put your ear up to it I swear you can actually smell the sea.

In the gym the other day and this guy walked past. From the front (he had towel around his waist) looked very respectable and could easily have looked like a civil servant/lawyer if suited and booted.

As he passed my 5 and 7 year old both made comments along the line of "Whoa, what a dragon" and sure enough the bloke had a bright and well drawn yellow and red dragon tattoo from the base of his neck to the top of his right leg's calf muscle.

Would never be able to do it myself but have to say, it was very impressive.
