I was going to jump on to lucky dougies thread below but it didnt seem fair.
Basically want bike friendly Pub/ B+B accomodation in Seattle, Ripon and Pocklington for Way of the Roses ride.
Safe bike accomodation good beer and food a priority. Any Advice?
Can handle more than the 50 mile a day average between these spots but these seem like the natrual staging places, having read the cycling plus article.

If you're going via Seattle then that's quite a tour
...but seriously, The Hart's Head in Giggleswick (2 miles from Settle) is a fantastic old pub with lovely rooms and great food, and a lounge bar with a roaring fire. I've never taken my bike there but there are plenty of outbuildings out back - I'd be surprised if they couldn't find somewhere for your bikes.
Run by Barbara and Trevor - they're very friendly and accommodating. Give them a ring.

Doh!!! Thought the second I typed it it seemed wrong. Still why not Pacific coast. Irish Sea and the North Sea. Think the average might be more than 50 miles a day.
Place you described sounds exactly the ticket. will give it a look on Google. Thanks.0 -
