A few questions if I may be so bold... :D
I'm looking at replacing my 2010 spesh' hardrock cable discs for hydraulic,am I right in saying that they are "IS" mounts?
Are the Clarke units any good?I know they're cheaper than Avid's and others but how do they compare?
If I buy a kit are the hoses included?
..and lastly what does Hose reduction kit mean?
Thanks confused... :D

Hose reduction kit - the bits you need to shrten the hose if its too long (other than the bleed kit which you'll also need!).

A kit will come with lever, hose and caliper, pre bled and ready to fit.

  • i cant tell you if they are is mounts, but a picture would help, or in the stickies there is an image that shows your what they both are so you can guess.

the clarks ones will have hoses included, a hose reduction kit is how to shorten the hose using a cutter, and itll have all the little metal bits (olives and barbs etc).

the skeletal (i think it was that, but not 100% sure) got a good review in MBUK a few months back, just depends on your budget. tbh have a look in the buying advice section, there are loads of brake threads in there.
  • Thanks... :D
