I'd like to know if the organizers started the race knowing the teams were using radios. If they only found out at the end then why not award the win to the highest finisher who wasn't using one? Perhaps if it was someone far down the field then that would have been more embarrassing than nullifying the event.

I think I read yesterday the organisers were supportive of the riders, but it's the UCI trying to flex their muscles.
