Standard spoke pattern which i think is 3 cross, its amazing that ive managed to build wheels, becasue i aint got a clue lol

    hub dimensions:

    http://nsbikes.com/hub.pdf

using the Dt swiss calculator i got 260 mm, this was based on 3 intersections of spokes, and 538mm diameter rim
    HUB MODEL
    P.C.D LEFT [mm]58
    P.C.D RIGHT [mm]49
    LEFT-CENTER [mm]34
    RIGHT-CENTER [mm]21
    O.L.D [mm]135
    does this seem about right?
i cant find any other decent calculators

  • Use 259. I've often found that spoke calc programs round up, and I'd rather build a stiffer wheel.
I always do my own spoke calcs as i was taught by a Pro Team TDF veteran wheelbuilder to do so.
The DT spoke calc comes up perfect if you use all DT products, but on the long side if you mix and match.
