a few weeks back i had to send my 800 back to wiggle as there was a problem with the screen in wet weather. wiggle were pretty brilliant tbh and i had a replacement in a couple of days. anyway, i went out for a spin yesterday and when i was taking the 800 off my bike i noticed there was some tiny specs of dirt between the screen and the casing around it. when i have tried to use a finger nail to get this out a bit of the screen broke away!only a tiny bit and it doesnt affect the performance of the device, but surely this shouldnt happen! and now i keep noticing it.
i should also point out that the 800 had a screen protector on it and was in a silicon case, oh, and i was riding on a main road - ie not through cr@p.

i contacted wiggle and they responded almost immediately saying that i will need to contact garmin support not them. i thought they had a no quibble return policy??!!!!

so i have contacted garmin but no answer yet.

i have now read through some pages on garmin forum and it seems this is very common and is a design fault by look of it.

im totally gutted. i feel like i have wasted £400! even if garmin repair or replace mine, the forum would suggest that the replacement will have the same issue!

has anyone on here suffered this?
