Assos FI Mille S5 size ?

hi - ive had assos a few years ago & looking at buying the new fi mille S5 - just wondering if anyone else had issues with size - the assos chart says i would be a medium im 5ft 9 33inch waist - is a medium realistic as with my older assos shorts i found a XL to be more like a medium ?

I made the mistake of getting a medium instead of large. My cycling performance plunged (esp climbing) and I was at a loss to explain it for months. It eventually twigged that maybe, just maybe, the shorts are placing more pressure on my thighs than they should. So got myself a large pair, out I went...and was flying again!

I'm 5ft 10" with a 34" waist and I take a Large, Assos work on height and not waist so with your height I'd be tempted to go and try a pair on but keep your shreddies on in your LBS and see which are more comfortable.

Be careful, I've got the large. 35" waist and 5ft 9. Great fit but the leg grippers are ever so slightly loose.
