Hi all,
I'm thinking of pushing the boat out and buying myself some Sidi Five shoes and was just wandering if there is a diffinitive way of finding out if your a normal size or mega?
Also I've heard Sidi's are on the small side and you have to order a size 1 or 2 bigger than your normal size, is this true?
Hope someone can help :?

Yes they are n the small size.0

They're more on the narrow side than on the small side. I have about 43 feet and I've worn both 43 mega and 43.5 normal. Both worked. Probably the 43 mega worked better, but unfortunately they don't do the mega sizes in some of the high end models.
But really, shoes are something you want to try on... It took me ages to decide on the right size last time, and that was after trying them on several times.0 -
Thanks neeb,
I think I'll take your advice and try a few pairs on before I part with my cash
That's if I can find a bike shop in Devon/Cornwall that stock them!!!0 -

Thanks all,
DHTT - visited Ricci today, thanks ever so much for pointing me in the right direction but now i'm even more confused about what to purchase...........
I tried a pair of Bontrager RXL's and Sidi's Genius 5's and found the RXL's to be like slippers and the Sidi's tended to slip of the heal when I pressed down on the balls of my feet :? Plus the Sidi's have a carbon composite sole the the RXL's are full carbon.......
Anyone used the RXL's and if so what are your opinions?0 -

Lots of people in my club have Bontragers RXL and seem to be pleased with them, Personally when I tried them they were to short.0

43 feet? I'd love to see his pedals!0

Yeah, actually it's cranksets I have a problem with. It's easy enough to get them with 2 x 21 crankarms, but because I need 22 crankarms on the left and 21 on the right I usually have to buy two sets...0 -

Try a bigger size...
I did ended up having to go up to around 46 from 43... So decided on some Shimano ones which fit better in the end and were 44s.0
