Rear derailleur problem
I've just taken delivery of my new bike but the cage of the rear derailleur is hitting the spokes. I've had a good look and looks slightly bent as the jockey wheels and the largest cog do not align. This is the best photo I could get to illustrate the problem.
It is a 105 groupset and I don't think it is an adjustment issue. Before I repackage and send it back any other opinions?

that's a bent mech hanger . Grab a park tools hanger tool , take off the rear mech , screw in the tool and bend it back out.0

it has been knocked and the mech hanger (black bit) has been bent.
new hanger needed.
contact the seller."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I didn't even look at the mech hanger!!!
Oddly enough I ordered a spare hanger for the new bike earlier this week so I had a spare.
I'll go and have another look.
Thanks guys.
I've already emailed Ribble with photos but as they don't answer phones on a Saturday it makes it harder to sort (especially as I work away from home during the week).0 -

You could ask if they will pay for a LBS to true it up, it saves the hassle of returning it.It takes 5 mins to true a hanger.0
