Hello folks, just looking at having my Colnago EPS built up and will need a fork expander bung 'thing', any advice on which one to go for? Would it be advisable to go with the long colnago one or an aftermarket type. Just dont want to use the wrong type re warranty etc, thanks

top caps usually come with the headset rather than the expander

I know, its quite pricey hence why Im aking if otheres can be used or recommended0

if the steerer tube is carbon, then any expander that covers the section that the lower edge of stem clamps to should do the job
imho the full length types like the colnago are better, similar ones for under a tenner...
use your own top cap...

That looks like the exact same one in my CLX, save for the anodising and the Colnago embossed top cap. Get it!Colnago C60 SRAM eTap, Colnago C40, Milani 107E, BMC Pro Machine, Trek Madone, Viner Gladius,
