Fettling mostly
Picked up my new pedals and grips this morning. Went for a quick blast and the pedals are great. Decided I don't like the grips though so I'm going to place another superstar order later.0 -
Obviously all fettling is taking place in my room, so I've got a selection of DVDs that will be playing in the background over the course of the weekend.

Morning, just midway round lining a window frame with timbers to tile onto, can't tile the one wall yet mind as the plaster is still drying out properly, I hate DIY, on the plus point pretty much all the painting is done, just the cutting in to do, hopefully by the end of the week I'll have a lovely freshly decorated bathroom, then just the 2 bedrooms, the hall stairs and landing, the front room and make good the render outside, re-gravel the drive and make new raised beds to do, in the next 10 months0

Today I am listing the Land Rover on Ebay as a non runner
I spend a fortune on getting the rear floorpan replaced and it has 8 months of MOT and tax on it. As it has a blown head gasket and I just couldn't be @ssed to attend to the issue, I'll be asking for someone to pay me a pittance for and come and take it away
Other than that, preparing for my new job opportunity in Surrey that starts next week, so I have to re home Milo the cat and take care of other matters.
I'll be staying in Basingstoke but still keeping this place in Stoke as my weekend home until I find new digs. Meh!
It's raining, I can't go anywhere to due the Discovery being FUBAR, so a weekend at home for me.. Meh!0 -

Getting pissed off in work (thankfully only 10 mins left) as after 2 months of telling them it's pointless advertising the company on a bloody radio station when they're looking for international investment they turn round and tell me "Right, find us companies/portals to use for advertising...they have to be stock listed (shame for them I have a job interview next week). EX was broken down and made to look as close to new as possible this lunchtime/early afternoon, not as arduous or (surprisingly) emotional as I thought it'd be...
Tonight is beer up, few games of pool and a ruby with a couple of mates.
Sunday I gotta get down to the LBS to swag a bike box of them then bubble wrap the shit out the bits that need to be sent away, after that it's chillax time.0 -

Today has consisted of getting up at 6am, riding 17miles with a 48mph wind that seemed to be blowing against me whatever direction I way going in, followed by an 8 mile walk with the terrierist to wear the little fecker out (didn't work) then a great full english breakfast followed by a day of argument and meh. Jumior 2 is at a party with Mrs, Junior 1 is watching Starwars.
I've just dumped a load of stuff on ebay because nobody here would want to buy HP printer cartridges.
Airbike lights are charging and I fully intend to do another 20 odd miles after Harry Hill, with pub and curry at the end. I'm feeling good at the mo and my mojo seems to have returned.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Tonight is a night of cuisine win

Morning at work, then watching the game right now, then off to get messed up later on tonight.

Today I've been helpin a friend out looking at tents. She has a little Citroen 2CV which she let me drive all day. Them things are death traps, but wicked fun! The gear system is the strangest thing in the world (bloody French), but I love the simplicity of it.
Anywho, we got her a tent, and that's pretty much been my day.
Time for a little American 'Whiskey' and coke me thinks.It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
