Blur LT2 owners - help please

Hi
I need to change the Monarch 3.3 shock on my Blur LT2. An RP23 is the obvious choice but is pro-pedal worth having or not?
If RP23 owners don't use the pro-pedal setting, then there are cheaper options like the Float R or even a coil shock. I've never really used the floodgate on the Monarch (as far as I can tell, not as effective as pro-pedal anyway) but would be very interested to know if Blur LT2 users with RP23s would miss pro-pedal if it wasn't there!
I'm 78kg and ride general trails. Many thanks in advance!

I've got a blur LT2 with an RP23 and I do use the pro-pedal. It does make quite a big difference and is easy to switch during a ride - Sometimes I forget to switch it and the ride feels far more laboured. If it wasn't there, I would miss it, but I'm sure plenty of people would cope without it. Personally I think it's a worthy addition and I'd buy another pro-pedal shock if my current one broke.

Why not experiment with the Monarch? Or is it bust?0

+1 for RP23 with propedal. Use mine loads. Also good for changing the ride of the bike depending on terrain.A Flock of Birds

Thanks for the replies - it's a relief as I've ordered an RP23! I've gone for a TF Tuned one which should arrive tomorrow.
The Monarch has leaked air on and off ever since new. My choice was to spend another £100 on it or put that towards an RP23 which seems to be a more reliable product. The floodgate did work but is subtle compared to Propedal.0
