    Morning Chaparoonies
Today has little in it apart from an argument later when the wife wants to watch corantion-enders instead of rugby
started fettling with a mates bke last night, put neww BB shells on, started to do the new brakes, the old ones had already been removed and the pin was missing, and he only supplied one set of pads not front and rear! Doh!
I text him to say you cant use the bike and i cant finish setting it up until you get some pads, he asked why?

On a up note, diet is going well, and tonight i will celebrate that fact with a curry :D

Morning, feeling like absolute crap. Seem to have acquired tendinitis in my hand which is adding to my grumpiness.

In uni already trying to write an essay, and my first lecture is healthcare policies, gah!

    Someone save me.

I feel so rough this morning there must be a badger missing it's 'arris. Too many prawn crackers and my mouth still tastes like hoi sin.

Tea and toast is being consumed at a frantic rate to rectify the situation so I can actually pedal the bike along in the winds that are currently trying to dislodge the shower portacabin.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

  • Got to get a worktop cut and edged today (flipping B&Q) then home for a child free environment, then out for a child free dinner. Maybe an early morning ride on Saturday depending on how much wine is drunk later.

The a weekend of waxing ski's and packing!

  • Morning all,

Today is the 1st anniversary of me riding to work. (Which I have celebrated by bringing the car, but I always do on a Friday)

The almighty Fiat passed it’s MOT this morning, after having a hole in the floor welded up. Now to get the Picasso through its MOT, hopefully that should go straight through.

I am also on day 3 of my caffeine detox, not had a coffee since Tuesday night. I have just read though that chocolate has caffeine, dark especially, this is not good What’s a good snack that doesn’t contain any caffeine?

Wifey is working late tonight so I should be able to sit down in peace and watch the Rugby.

    Is it 1:45 yet?

    Good Afternoon Freaks!

Foot's still 'kin sore, so sat on the sofa, leg on the coffee table, playing GT5. Fun as that sounds, I'm bored sh1tless. Really hate not being able to get around and do stuffs. Even fettling's out at the moment. :(

Looking forward to the Rugby tonight. Should be a good match.
  • Good Afternoon!

Received some nice packages from Wiggle and CRC this morning, so have been fettling with the bike and am very pleased with my efforts! New bottom bracket installed, so will be able to get back out on the bike again soon.

Off out in a bit to get some fancy dress for tonight, think we are going as army or something. Then getting drunk, watching the rugby and going out for one of my friends house mates birthdays. All in all a pretty decent day!
  • Also I wasn't very impressed when I got up to find £50's worth of stuff just propped up against my front door, don't know what has happened to them leaving them little red slips when no one answers the door.

Can't fault the delivery times, ordered late Tuesday evening, both stuff from CRC and Wiggle didn't get dispatched till yesterday and turned up this morning.

Got my car back from garage today :D , massive dump brewing and an entertaining weekend lined up.
  • Today it's windy here, makes me wish I'd brought my stunt kites back from the old country
My long term girlfriend who works at the ECHR in Strasbourg has asked me to move in with her.. as in France.
Quite tempting right now to be honest, Strasbourg or Surrey? It's a no brainer!

Gaaa. Had to go to Milan last night and sit in meeting today to listen to a load of people talking too quickly and gesticulating too much. Given the amount of f'ing strong coffee they drink it's probably not surprising. Now stuck at the airport as my plane home is delayed

Too frikkin' right mate, a lot of people think 'oooh - how glam, travelling abroad to work'. It's not, it's a chore and when its long haul there's the jet lag as well that f***s you up for a few days each way. At least I'm in the airline lounge with free grog and snacks & no-one to stop me surfing the net :D
