Can someone tell me please whether these are designed to fit cable outers or inners?
The hole looks very small for an outer (I realise they probably stretch), but I'm looking for something to keep cables away from paint/carbon finish, and really don't want to stick anything to my lovely new shiny frame - when it finally arrives....

inners as per a standard donut.
Which cable outers are you worried about? Rubber o-rings are probably your best bet for the rear brake cable, and that the only one that usually rubs.0 -

Might be different on other frames, but on my Colnago where the shifter cables pass the headtube, and as you say where the rear brake cable passes the seattube2011 Bianchi D2 Cavaria in celeste (of course!)
