My son isn't a cyclist - he's a swimmer to quite a high level.
Anyway he broke his foot mid November and was put in a cast - then a walking boot. The walking boot was removed last friday and all seemed well - till a couple of days back - when he complained the whole of his foot was hurting - tonight he could hardly walk....
He's gone off to A+E - with his mum - Im fearing the worst - ie its broke again - and plates having to be inserted.......
I know web prognosis is dodgy - but anybody any experience of such issues ?

He hasn't been using his foot normally - since last november.
At first everything was fine - but he is now in more pain - than he was from the initial break.
A+E re xrayed him last night - no break and they reckon it will clear up without further intervention - but if it doesn't they will give physio. - so I suppose its all in hand.0 -
when you first get the plaster took off it hurts like a b@gger. the joint has not been able to move, or be put under any tension for all that time. should get better soonDeath or Glory- Just another Story0

surprised they haven't booked physio already? I fractured my elbow before Xmas, and the last couple of weeks have been more painful than when I did it. Physio has helped a lot, and hoping to be back on two wheels next weekend :-)Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0

Seems a long time - when I broke my foot I was out of plaster in 5 weeks. But i doubt our breaks or history were the same. I'm sure he will be fine with time,0
