Hi , I´m from Sweden and i will be in London next weekend , Can anyone recommend some bikeshops to visit ? Not that i " need " anything , but it would be nice to have a closer look to Cervelo and Orbea . Have been searcing the net and it seems that Sigmasport is the place to go ? Haven´t found any shop with Orbea thought .

Sigmasport is in Hampton Wick which is about 25 minutes on the train out of Waterloo so not really central, but well worth a visit. Condor is good, Mosquito Bikes in Islington are good, Brixton Cycles are also good. If you feel like travelling a little South of the centre Pearsons in Sutton are excellent.

I'd steer clear of Mosquito, if I were you, at least if you are seriously thinking to buy, but Condor is nice.

Condor excellent for browsing. Tokyo Fixed Gear worth a look, they've a beautiful (geared) stainless steel Milani in the window.

If you want blingtastic then you want Sigma Sport in Hampton. The showroom would put any car showroom to shame, it's incredible. Wall to wall with the most beautiful bicycles and equipment. I've never seen a bike shop like it. Colnago, Oinarello, Cevelo, Orbea, Seven and lots more.

Don't believe Sigma stock Orbea, unless they have recently become a dealer.

I think you're right about Orbea but there's plenty more to look at. Well worth a visit.

Thanks for your replys , Condor looks great ! this should keep me busy and my wallet empty :D . Anyone knows were to find Orbea ?
  • It's a bit out of the way (unless you fancy a 40-50 mile ride while you're here... :D ) but Cycles Dauphin is very nice too.

Otherwise, as others have said, Sigma and Condor are well worth the trip.

You could jump on the train from Kings Cross up to Cambridge and visit Primo Cycles who have both Cervelo and Orbea. Great shop.

Edit to say: that was only half serious, but in all seriousness Condor is a good shop, plenty of bling on show :D

Think you'll struggle to find a decent Orbea dealer in London. If you fancy a long day out, head over to Epic Cycles in Worcestershire where I got mine!

And the Oakley shop is nearby as well!
  • I was wondering what all of the fuss was about, until I went into Condor this morning.
    Beautiful shop, and lovely gear.
    Well worth a visit.

The brookes shop (as in brookes saddles) is a great shop to go to (http://www.b1866.com/). Just round the corner from Covent Garden (where there's also an Oakley shop).
