Avid Elixir 3 Disc Brake Query

I'm looking for a new Avid Elixir Disc Brake kit and was looking at the Elixir 3, its in the right price range. I had read that the cable isn't adjustable something to do with the banjo isn't adjustable. Is this correct?
The housing on the Elixir 3 looks different from the Elixir R but technically it does the same thing, but it's cheaper.
I just would like to know if any one out there with an Elixir 3 was able to adjust teh cable length to suit their bike.

they do not have any banjos.
there is also no cable.

yes the hose can be shortened just the same as any other Hydro. brake."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
