Hello
Could some one tell me what's the difference between these two guides for servicing fox 32 fork seals,
http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/article/w ... fork-25020
http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/article/w ... fork-29100
Why does the second link mention adding fork oil before re fitting the crush washer and the first link doesn't?
Which is correct?

I've been down this wiper seal cleaning with Fox themselves:
My email:
Hi
I seem to have found 2 approaches to wiper maintenance for fox forx.
1) as per this video and from a leaflet I received where the lowers are
removed durng the cleaning process
http://www.mojo.co.uk/dustwiper.html
2) as per the service manual where just the wipers are lifted, cleaned
and the foam rings resoaked with fluid
http://www.foxracingshox.com/fox_tech_c ... clean.html
Which is the correct process ?

Hello,
Either of these processes will work for doing quick seal maintenance.
It is really which is easier or works best for you. Personally, I would
recommend the first process as this seams to be an easier process and
least likely to scratch your stanchion tubes or lower legs.
Thanks
I've done the lift the seal approach  ; next time the lowers are coming off and I would add the suspension fluid.Trek Remedy 7

Thanks will do it in the next few weeks i think.
Would still like to know why BR posted two identical service procedures for the same model fork only with one alteration. i.e the oil in the leg at the end0
