Gamut P30 on a Trek Remedy

Hi all,

I've just been fitting (trying) a Gumut P30 Dual Chain ring guide to a Trek Remedy 8 (2010 model I think).

The back plate of the boomerang has a lip that fits over the top of the ISCG mounts, however, the tollerance is so tight that it doesn't quite fit over the top.

Therefore, there are 3 choices;

1) buy a different guide
2) file a bit of the ISCG mount down (it's more than just the pain unfortunatly)
3) file some of (or even cut the lip) of the boomerang so that it fits over the top.

Has anyone come across this?

Thanks
Craig Rogers

    I'll try and get some, I've not got his bike at the moment as I aborted and left it with just the bash guard.

    Do you mean file the ISCG Mounts or the bracket? It doesn't need too much off for it to fit.

    I'd file the bracket, it's replacable, the frame isn't. But then there's not an awful lot of metal in a P30 bracket.
