Isn't it coming up for that time of the year when Apple unveils it's new iPhone? I like how they keep it pretty much quiet to people pay full whack only to find an improved version getting released 4 weeks laterFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0

Ipad 2 is out soon so I doubt it... I reckon that will be out 1st and then a new phone.0

its like the iphone, but theres a lot more free stuff because its covered in adverts.... thats about it really.
Just a different type of smart phone thats not as refined as the iphone.0 -

Also comes with the added benefit of being able to sustain phonecalls without having to hold the phone funny.
I fully expect an update to the iPhone as well as the iPad2 (which if the specs are right I shall be getting)Formally known as Coatbridgeguy0 -

Its also opensource, so your not dictated too with what you can do with YOUR phone.. The Iphone 4 is sweet, but I'd much rather have and android for the freedom, choice and that you don't have to spend £35 per month for the priviledge.0 -
do these htc phones need charging up every 12 hours like all of my mates iphones?0
-
Not quite 12 hours but I'm 1-2 days before chargingFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0

I only need to charge my iPhone 4 every 2 days.+ 1001 posts reset by the cruel cruel moderators!

I don't get the opensource thing, its good at 1st but gets boring.. its not something i personnally would use I don't think
And you can customise the iphone as much as you want if you know how.0 -

I can go all weekend and still have battery to spare, but during the week at work, i listen to mp3s, watch video during lunch, browse the web, play games and I'm usually on about 30%-40% battery when I get home.0 -
I hardly ever "charge" my iphone because it connects to my car (and charges) i listen to it in my bedroom (and it charges)
the biggest seller for most people is the user interface and the amount of accesories available for them.

horses for courses in it... I like the iphone, but wouldn't pay £35p/m for one. Thought you had to "jailbreak" it too to get a bit of freedom?
I know my mate can't make his iphone 4 into a wifi hotpsot and tether it to a laptop to browse the net. I also know he can't set his Iphone 4 into an FTP server. But he does have a GPU and i don't. so swings and roundabouts...0 -

I had mine jailbroken and played about with (takes 30seconds to jailbreak so its not exactly as long and difficult as people make out) but I got a bit bored of the customisation because there was TOO much choice!
and you can tether the iphone for free once its jailbroken too, its not a massive thing though, I only did it to try it because I could!0 -
I have no idea what your saying? I go to wifi hotspots and use internet and surf the web, well BR and facebook LOL0
