Pitch pro headset

Hi, does anyone know if a 'FSA pig DH pro' headset will fit a 09 specialized pitch pro?

    Yes. You can fit a gyro too :wink:

    Any standard 1 1/8th headset will fit.

    the reason i ask is the bit that goes into the head tube on the lower cup appears to be very 'deep'

    The clue is in the name DH - the manu says it's strong enough for DH - big forks, slack angles.

    It's longer for extra strength/stiffness. As head tubes are uniform in the main right through, it'll just sit further in.
