What type of paint is on the On-one frames?
My Scandal is possibly the dullest of all colours (but at least its not pink) and the re-emergence of Anodising Steve, i think it would be rude not to get it done?

So has anyone stripped theres?
How did you do it?
I have a large tin of Nitromorse in the shed if needed?

Cheers

I wouldnt get it sand blasted your frame will end with more holes in it than a lace curtain.

I had a frame powdercoated recently and the guy who did the job took the old paint off with paint stripper and then blasted it with fine glass beads. Did a lovely job.

Or as its an On-one you could just get the frame wet and the paint will fall off pretty quick.

I'd just wrap it in gear cables, they always seems to take the paint of absolutely anything they touch for more than a second.

A full frame costs about £60 for anodising and £20 if you want me to bead blast it to achieve a nicer, even, factory looking finish. The bead blasting is purely for decorative purposes only and will not remove paint. We don't have paint stripping facilities here and I require all parts to be sent to me in bare or anodised aluminium only.

Please note that due to a monumental **** up on hotmails part, I have had to change my Email address to stevebarry1978@googlemail.com.

Please get in touch if you require any anodising.

    Regards.

Paint stripper will take the paint of no problem but if you are getting it painted you dont need to take off all of the paint just the stickers unless the stickers are under the clear. If you powder coat you need to take off all of the paint but a good powder coat shop will do that for you. Its not hard to strip a bike we strip whole cars at our shop sometimes and thats a pain but a bike no problem. Good luck and let us know what you do and maby some pics
