Jose Maria Fuente, the forgotten climber

My favourite spanish rider ever. He was a great climber, but he had a lack of strategy skills. He won 2 Vueltas, but his best moments were in the Giro. In Italy he is still a leyend.

Is this 'Manuel' Fuente? Didn't know much about him until recently.

From that 1973 film (Stars and Watercarriers) there's also a wonderful 8-minute sequence of Fuente breaking away and winning in the Dolomites which is an all-time favourite for me.
