Gusset Quick Joining Link

Hi. Has anyone come across these chain joining links? Saw them on Tredz website & they're a fraction of the price of KMC ones (£2.69 for 10speed). Thing is, are they any good?

    Do tell us how you get on with them.

    I've always been alarmed by the massive price increase for eg the KMC links when going from 8 or 9 speed to 10 speed. Either they are harder / more expensive to manufacture, or they are taking the mickey and charging over the odds just cos it's 10 speed. Same seems to go for chains.

    Mind you, driving a pin out of a 10 sp chain is a lot harder than 8 sp, so I am prepared to believe the manufacturing tolerances have to be much tighter.
    Perhaps that's why I'm suspicious of a cheaper 10 sp link?? Or am I falling for the marketing BS?
