Today I will be mainly feeling tired.
No2 still not sleeping through the night, and she woke me up 20 mins before my alarm Grr.

Got the bike in last night for a fettle, Noticed that when loading bikes into the car i picked up my brothers front wheel- its 3" too small  Must let him know as my wheel wont fit on his
Starting weighing bits with my new digi scale thingy. Frame without wheels attached is just over the 9kg? but my Dart 3 forks must weigh at least half that

anywhoo on with the day

    Morning groovy gang

Off to the gymnasium now to do some squats, followed all to closely by work, and a day of visiting Birmingham International and Liverpool. If any of you crud types live anywhere along those routes and wish to bring me tea and/or fruit I would be most happy.

    Right, time to roll

    Tarrah a bit

    Morning all.

I have a day off so I'm going to be putting my XC head on and riding (probably very slowly) around Sherwood Pines. Hopefully the weather will stay nice :)

Then this evening it's off to the pub with the good lady where she is buying me dinner

Just finished first meeting of the day, 2 more to go, spent most of it trying to work out how much money I'll have after tax and MOt's for the cars next month. Answer keeps coming out at zero, but I'm sure there's a way to start getting some 10 speed kit before prices go up even more than they have.

Also structuring my Friday so that I can leave at 3pm and spend 3 hours going round Tunstall.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

    Complete NRS = 9.6kg...

    Good Morning Freaks!

Been to the hospital to have blood taken (again...). Now about to meet up with my new minion for coffee and probably a bacon sandwich.

Had to drive in today, so contemplating a night ride on the XTC later. This will require a certain amount of plotting and brownie point scoring this afternoon.

    *plots*
  • Morning all. I've got a meeting in 15 minutes, the minion has just come in, so she can prepare me a mug of tea for said meeting.

    Roll on 4:30.

I thought it was quite light until I weighed it lol
Still got "temp" crank and BB which is square taper bottom of the range rubbish and an old deore mech. Oh and of course the replacement seatpost and saddle are no where near the weight of the ones I lost
So the next purchase will be lighter forks and then look for a lighter single ring crank set up?

    afternoon all,

had to take the boy to hospital this morning to have his egg allergy checked out, and guess what? he's allergic to egg!!! i could have told them that as when he has eggs he comes out in a rash and throws up

anyhoo, not a bad day today, sorting stuff ready for a mad busy week next week, meeting my brothers for a drink after work and i'll try and squeeze in a quick hour ride before i meet them :D

    catch you laters :D
  • Today is a day of financial turmoil..
I need to get the Land Rover repaired, I popped a head gasket on the M6 last night.. so I guess the head will need a skim, there's the gasket kit and more importantly I need to find out what caused the issue, I do suspect the water pump.
Other than that just another day of waiting for people to call me back regarding job opportunities. I did attend an interview in Surrey last night, phase two of that continues tomorrow. I am holding thumbs..
  • today i am moslty check VAT returns and postings :(

Afternoon All, been busy so far today with hospital appointment, gym and then housework lol it's a hard life.

Now to do some actually work and crack on with my essay :(
  • Afternoon all,

Today sucks somewhat, the almighty Punto failed it’s MOT, brakes are apparently a bit screwy and it needs some welding. Asda smart price grub for me for a bit.

In other news, 2 job interviews I went to last week came back with a no. 1 I’m not too fussed about but the other was pretty cool. They said it was down to me and 1 other, the other got it cos they had a little more experience in a certain area, I hate reasons like that.

Got another interview tomorrow but it’s a little further away than I would’ve liked, I now consider the ability to ride into work as a key point to look for.

    Is it 5 yet?

cheers, although London Midland might ask questions if I start taking Liverpool crime street services via Chester! Although it would mean I could pop and see my bro too.

Decided against the gym this morning, cba. Instead I stayed in and painted the ceiling, not a euphampism, I actually gave the bathroom ceiling a good coat of emulsion.

What's the dipped beam bulb in a 2002 Subaru Legacy Outback?

Need to order one (as I refuse to pay Halfraud's inflated prices), one went on the way into work this morning.

Although, I will say, I'm impressed with the magical stuff that goes on with the electronics in the Cakemobile - When the bulb went, the main beam icon 'slightly' lit up on the dashboard and the computermabob that controls all things electronical majically put, I'd say about 1/3 power to the main beam bulbs and turned on the parking light bulb in the headlight where the dipped bulb had gone, to light up the lamp and therefore make the Cakemobile legal(ish) to drive until I can replace it.
